Strengthening the Camel to Bend, Not Break.

The Concern with Camels
When we’re acutely or chronically stressed it can feel like the old adage about the overloaded camel being brought down by the last straw. Anything could set us off, even something minor. Using hypnotherapy for stress management we can unload some of the other burdens from this camel and maybe even make it stronger overall.
Point Break
Particularly of use is learning what triggers our particular stress response. Hypnotic exercises can help us know exactly what triggers us and the early warning signs we can expect to notice before it happens. This lets us act decisively to head stress off at the pass, whether that is stress from work or home.
Mental Yoga
Through therapy we then develop specific coping strategies to be able to deal with these stressors. Practical techniques such as relaxation or assertiveness skills might be helpful. We can then use hypnosis to embed these skills more effectively and practice how we would use them in your specific stress-triggering situations.
Flexible Thinking
Hypnotherapy for stress can also be used to help us reframe negative thought patterns that may have us stuck in a self-defeating cycle. Using hypnosis, we can gain insight into ourselves and then actively challenge and change these unhelpful thoughts.
Iron Mind
Hypnosis can also be used to improve self-confidence and resilience in the face of stressful situations. This improved constitution can aid you in handling these situations in a way that is satisfying to you.
First Steps
If you’re struggling to manage stress or you feel overwhelmed and unable to cope, then cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy could be a valuable tool for you to be able to live a calmer life and feel able to confidently deal with what life throws at you.
